Kerala model of healthcare rests on a decentralised public health system built over decades and a strong welfare state has had previous experience of dealing with the 2018s Nipah outbreak, which equipped the state to develop a robust response to Covid-19. Keralas success, in large part, can be credited to the ASHAs meticulous pre-Covid-19 data collection of every household, their intricate database of every person who moved out of Kerala for work and their health indicators. This enabled the state to develop a rapid trace-test-isolate-support strategy. ASHAs, who are recognised as being central in its resistance against the disease.

This study aims to assess the information literacy skills of Feni University students. The study discusses the present status of the practice of information literacy program and information competency of the students. Information literacy encompasses more than good information-seeking behavior. It incorporates the abilities to recognize when information is needed and then to phrase questions designed to gather the needed information. It includes evaluating and then using information appropriately and ethically. The findings present the original insights concerning the practice of information literacy program in Feni university library and students information literacy skills. The study found that, information literacy is very much important for university students and must be included into the graduate program. Most of the students urged that the library authority should immediately start information literacy program and continue regularly.

INTRODUCTION The current pandemic scenario has put up an immeasurable burden on health care services. As we are approaching the epidemiological peak, with no signs of any vaccine or an antiviral treatment in the market for the prevention or management of COVID-19, it becomes imperative to have an efficient workforce to prevent the disruption of the health care system. In this hour of need, the role of medical students in the clinical environment needs to be reassessed. Medical students have been kept out of the picture fearing the risks involved to them. But recognizing the possibility that COVID-19 can result in health care worker shortage, the students need to be embedded in the clinical environment. Though medical students are not directly involved in managing COVID-19 patients, they can serve as information providers like volunteering in information cells, creating patient education materials, spreading awareness etc. Based on this backdrop, the overarching purpose of this study is to analyze the awareness of medical students regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. AIM & OBJECTIVES 1. To assess the knowledge and awareness of medical students regarding the latest guidelines on COVID-19. MATERIALS & METHODS A web-based cross-sectional survey was conducted using Google Form to obtain responses from undergraduate medical students. The study was carried out following the Checklist for Reporting Results of Internet E-Surveys (CHERRIES) guidelines. Informed consent was obtained and they were requested to provide authentic answers. A survey comprising 13 close-ended questions (in the English language) were formulated using reference materials on COVID-19 developed by WHO, CDC and ICMR. It covered general awareness and the latest guidelines on COVID-19. The questionnaire was validated by the faculty for clarity and acceptability. The final survey link was distributed among the students through various media platforms. All the collected data were entered into Microsoft Excel and descriptive statistics was performed using SPSS software version 21. RESULTS On evaluating the results from the sample size of 206, the Mean score was 10.4 with a median range of score 10. The scores were classified as excellent (?95%), good (80-95%), fair (60-80%) and poor (<60%). The overall knowledge of students was excellent (16.6%), good (62.2%) and fair (21%). On further analyzing the year wise results, no statistically significant difference was noted. Even first-year students had good awareness (64.8%) regarding the guidelines. DISCUSSION & CONCLUSION Majority of medical students have a good level of awareness regarding the COVID-19. This is a very reassuring finding that shows they are keen on following the updates and guidelines. With adequate training, they can be considered as part of the team involved in the fight against COVID-19. Including them would also reinforce the students the important values of altruism and service in times of need. For spreading awareness and dispelling myths related to COVID-19 pandemic, medical students can be involved and this would also decrease the burden on our health care system.

The data transmission in any wireless communication system is affected by attenuation, interference, noise and distortion which affect the receivers ability to receive the correct information. The Convolution encoder and Viterbi decoder are good forward error detection and correcting codes for a channel, which is affected by noise. The convolution encoder is used for correction of errors at the receiver end. Software de?ned radio adapts various modulation schemes, encoding techniques by changing its con?guration. SDR reduces the cost complexity and provides the ?exible communication system. This paper presents the implementation of convolution Encoder and Viterbi Decoder with a constrained length of 3 and a code rate of by using Spartan and virtex families of FPGA. This paper proposes the Viterbi decoder architecture which optimizes the critical path to achieve higher speeds. The design of Viterbi is carried out in MATLAB and verified. RTL coding is done using Verilog HDL, Xilinx Spartan Series FPGA is used for implementation. Modelsim and Vivado is used for simulation functional and timing simulations.

We have prepared pristine and ZnO nanoparticle doped PVC films with varying doping concentration and thin films thicknesses. The conductivity is measured by applying different applied fields and temperatures for pristine and ZnO doped PVC thin films. The Ln? verses 1/T x 10-3 K plot exhibited nonlinearity nature and it is found that the conductivity increases more sharply for doped sample than the undoped sample at intermediate temperature. The activation energy is calculated by employing arrhenious equation and found that it increases with increase in doping concentration of ZnO in PVC film.

Womens Writings most often fulfil an implicit anticipation of finding new definitions for existence and survival, revealing multiple dimensions involved in the process of being and becoming women. K.R. Meera, the renowned Malayalam writer, is known for her instinctive awareness of various interlocking forces at work and a deeper perception into the predicament of women in family and society. I am attempting a feminist reading of her work Malaghayude Marukukal (The Angels Beauty Spots: Three Novellas), to reveal the subversive acts of the protagonists while in executing their autonomy and asserting their existence.

As a novelist of considerable merit, Anita Desai enriches the tradition of Indian writing in English. She is recognized as the first Indian author writing in English who delineates feminist themes seriously, focusing on the conditions of women in India. Her present novel, Fire on the Mountain captures many a reader and scholar. In this women-centred novel, she depicts the intensity of psychological conflicts experienced by women. Here she portrays the alienation of her protagonist, Nanda Kaul in a unique manner. Nanda Kaul sacrifices a lot for her family and lives only for her family but finds nothing in back.

Magnesium Diboride has attracted the attention of physicists all over the world due to its characteristics band structure and high superconducting(SC) transition temperature 39K. In the present paper the superconducting(SC) state parameters ?, ?* and Tc representing the electron-phonon coupling strength, Coulomb - coupling strength and SC transition temperature of MgB2 have been studied through Harrisons First Principle Pseudopotential [HFPP] technique[1]. The non-local screen form factor w(k, q) of the constituents have been computed through for widely excepted forms of exchange-correlation functions viz. Vashishta Singwi (V-S), Hubbard Sham (H-S), Kleimn -Langreth(K-L) and Shaw (SH) forms. The form factor of MgB2 has been obtained through the well-known Faber-Ziman [2]. The SC state parameters have been completed through the Mc Millans Formalism [3]. Reasonable agreement has been obtained with previous and experimental data.
