In the era of digital communication, social media platforms have become vital, facilitating global connectivity. However, they also confront severe challenges, such as the proliferation of hate speech and offensive content. Hate speech poses substantial risks by targeting individuals or groups based on attributes like religion, race, or gender. Addressing this issue necessitates a combination of technological, community-driven, and policy-oriented solutions. Due to the lengthy posts, it would be beneficial to identify the specific span of text containing hateful content to assist site moderators with removing hate speech. This paper investigates the application of machine learning and deep learning techniques, specifically Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) networks, for automating the identification of hate speech and offensive content. Using BiLSTM in conjunction with GloVe embedding's, we achieved a considerable F1-score of hate span detection, marking a significant improvement over previous methods. Our automated system represents a critical step toward a safer and more inclusive online environment. By seamlessly integrating machine learning and deep learning, it enhances our ability to detect and combat hate speech effectively. This research underscores the importance of technological advancements in addressing complex social challenges within the digital realm. While significant progress has been made, ongoing efforts in technological innovation, community engagement, and policy development are necessary to create a more respectful and harmonious online space.

This work describes experimental investigation of various mechanical properties of Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) which is completely free from coarse aggregate. It is a modern cementitious composite containing a large amount of cement, both non reactive and reactive ultra fine particles, chemical admixtures with micro and macro steel fibres. This type of concrete has superior flexural, durability and excellent mechanical properties. In this work UHPC containing 2% of fibres by volume with compressive strength exceeding 120 MPa is proportioned with a cement content of 850kg/m3 and water cement ratio of 0.25. In this study detailed descriptions of the measurement of compressive strength and split tensile strength are given. The results shows that, based on the optimized particle packing with hybrid macro and micro fibres, it is possible to produce UHPC with a relatively low water-binder ratio. Moreover, due to the mutual effects between the utilized fibres, the hybrid fibre reinforced UHPC shows an improved flowability and better mechanical properties.

The ubiquity of food images on social media and recipe-sharing platforms has created an opportunity for automating the generation of cooking recipes from visual cues. In this study, we propose a novel method for generating recipes from food images by harnessing Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). Our approach leverages the power of deep learning to analyze the visual features of food images and extract key ingredients and cooking instructions. We begin by collecting a diverse dataset of food images paired with corresponding recipes. We then design a CNN architecture tailored for this task, enabling it to recognize ingredients, cooking utensils, and cooking techniques from the images. The model's ability to understand the visual context of the ingredients is enhanced by incorporating attention mechanisms.Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our method, with the generated recipes achieving high fidelity to the input images. We conduct thorough evaluations, including recipe quality assessments and user studies, to validate the practical utility of our approach. Our work paves the way for innovative applications in the culinary domain, such as automated recipe recommendation systems, real-time cooking assistance, and content generation for food-related platforms. We believe that our novel method for generating recipes from food images using CNNs represents a significant step forward in the convergence of computer vision and culinary arts.

This paper explores the transformative potential of digital resources in the context of literature education in Nagaland, India. In a region where traditionalism has long defined the educational landscape, the integration of digital tools presents a paradigm shift that promises to enrich pedagogy and empower students. Through an investigation of the implications and benefits of this integration, this paper advocates for stakeholders to recognize the importance of investing in ICT infrastructure and teacher training. To strengthen its argument, this paper outlines a case study involving the teaching of Virginia Woolf's "Mrs. Dalloway" in a college in Nagaland. Integrating digital resources such as WhatsApp, YouTube, and PowerPoint presentations, the teaching approach involved audio book sharing, comprehension questions, movie adaptation viewing, and reflective discussions. Student feedback elicited after the teaching revealed the benefits of this approach, including flexibility, enhanced engagement, and a deeper understanding of the text.

Semiconductor industry seems to approach a wall where physical geometry and power density issues could possibly render the device fabrication infeasible. Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA) is a new nanotechnology that claims to offer the potential of manufacturing even denser integrated circuits, which can operate at high frequencies and low power consumption. In QCA technology, the signal propagation occurs as a result of electrostatic interaction among the electrons as opposed to flow to the electrons in a wire. The basic building block of QCA technology is a QCA cell which encodes binary information with the relative position of electrons in it. A Quantum-dot cellular automaton (QCA) represents a modern technology for implementing small-sized circuits with high-performance, low-power consumption and various computations in digital circuits at the nanoscale level. These quantum dots made up at a nanoscale level which increases the performance of circuits. With the invention of QCA in electronics, the circuits can achieve their operations with very high efficiency and with low power dissipation. Meanwhile, a universal shift register (USR) is a particular circuit with the functions of storing and shifting bits to a specified direction and is observed as an essential component. This USR also has the process to load the data. Therefore, here we propose a USR circuit based on QCA, i.e., QUSR, which requires the essential components of a shift register and a multiplexer (Mux) combined and used to select the operation of the USR. In this project, we propose a 2-to-1 Mux, which then extended to a 4-to-1 Mux. Here, we suggest a new D flip-flop and design a shift register by connecting all of these. Finally, we propose a QUSR that consumes low power and computes high-performance by combining four 4-to-1 Muxes and a four-bit shift register. The proposed QUSR is highly efficient in time and space complexities and has a good energy dissipation performance. The proposed design performance metric of efficiency achieved by doing required simulations using the QCA Designer tool.
