The Doldrummers (1960) is a play by Asif Currimbhoy in two acts subdivided into a total of four scenes that deals with the lives of four Anglo-Indians caught in the meaningless struggle for survival which leads to their disillusionment with the society they live in. Colonial hangover persists which has its hold on the lives of these characters due to which they are unable to create their identities. Their inability to succeed in professional and personal life lead them to a feeling of frustration and despair. The degeneration that follows is the result of immoral life which they lead due to a lack of purpose in life. Currimbhoy has earnestly portrayed the life of shack dwellers living in the suburbs of Bombay with all its poverty and disagreements, its loves and small joys and has successfully portrayed their basic humanity. The play aims at studying basic human emotions and relationships.

The COVID 19 has brought new challenges for the manufacturing industry. The type of layout change will largely focus on the nature of the manufacturing tasks, volume and variety of the products including the norms of social distancing. Therefore it is important for any sector to develop their way of working around the recent problems yet maintaining World Class Standards. This paper provides a review of the comparison between old and new industry layout. It provides the beneficial information of the latest layout with new methods and installing the new technology in the industry layout for optimum productivity, maximum safety and minimum health risks. In this paper, the current layout of an industry is examined and a new layout is proposed based on the traditional plan of layout to reduce the risky interaction. It has opted processes layout. The number of available inventories have been analyzed. The study review operation-process data, activity-relationship data and the intermigration between equipment and area has been seen. The proposed industrial layout depicts the reduced distance of material flow which improves on the touch time of handler. The implementation of the proposed layout may help in the productivity of industry without hampering the health.

As the world is facing unprecedented security challenges at different frontsespecially environment, health and economic spheresthe roles of international organizations have become important to addressespecially after Cold War featured as rise of multiple powersin order to sort out the emerging security challenges, disarmament of weapons for instance. The United Nations partly have succeeded in its main objectives to maintain international peace and security, simultaneously failed to acknowledged the concerns of developing countries to speed up reforms as the world is no longer what it was before the World War II. It is concluded by saying that the UN has succeeded in its objectives partly; however, it also requires reinforcing its main objectives and principles by adopting the dynamic and practical demands made by member states for a long. In this context, this article seeks to assessment of the United Nations and its achievement and failures after completing of its seventy-five years in 2020; it also underlines major objectives and its performances and finds out key challenges that the United Nation is facing that require restructuring internal bodies and long awaited reformsespecially in the Security Council and so on. All these present for members UN has also an opportunity to peacefully resolve the challenges of world at today.

Structural deformation commonly known as rutting (permanent deformation) in Asphalt pavements is the most familiar and major form of distress in soft subgrade soils which results in premature failure and impairing its serviceability criteria. Conventional distress prediction models account only direct in-situ measurements rather than material characterization and its responses under realistic dynamic loading. This study develops in-situ response based modified constitutive 2-D model to predict rutting in terms of estimated vertical compressive strain and radial strain. The influence of calculated responses estimated from 30 tests locations of various road sections having diverse traffic loading and soil characteristics has been thoroughly assessed by developing the correlation with conventional volumetric and index properties along with backcalculated moduli of granular and subgrade layers. Results depicts that poor correlation of 0.65 between vertical compressive strain and material parameters with radial basis function network and comparatively good correlation of 0.79 with multi linear perceptron network. Similarly, poor correlation of 0.55 between radial strain and material parameters with radial basis function network and comparatively good correlation of 0.82 with multi linear perceptron network. Further the final 2-D rut prediction modified constitutive model shows a satisfactory result with a correlation value of 0.732. The application of these developed models in the developing countries like India accelerates the decision-making process of various stakeholders in understanding the realistic mechanistic behaviour of pavement structural deformations rather than simple conventional rut measurements

India is a developing country where more than 60% of its population is earning their livelihood from the primary sector. Hence, it becomes imperative to study and analyse the rural sector of India which is equally important for the growth of our nation. Rural India depicts the real face of our country with 70% of its population living in villages. Indias major growth is contributed by agrarian economy and its study would help the countrys overall growth and progress. The sociological study of changing village structure will highlight the problems faced by the rural India and the provisions of state and central government to tackle them.

Anita Desai emerges out as one of the most outstanding writers of modern period. The t6reasure of Indo-English fiction has been enriched by her valuable contributions. She is a versatile genius because her fictions are universal in appeal. In writing she parallels the art of Nayantra Sahgal. Their writings are so much elevated that readers feel the sublimity of their art. In Indian writing in English she has been recognized as one of the major substantial voices of her age. Her short stories and novels have credited her several readers in her account not only in India but worldwide. This is one of the reasons that she is the most quoted writers of Diaspora. Her first novel Cry the Peacock along with other novels and a collection of short stories has added new dimensions to Indo-English Literature. It is interesting to note that in most of her plots we can figure out her personal experiences of life. Thus, there is a sense of realism in her works. She is the kind of writer who cannot escape the real incidents of any society.

Abstract: India is the Fastest Growing Economy and also home to the largest number of people with Middle and low income groups living in urban and rural areas of the country. School education system in India is one the largest in the world and many and many initiatives have been taken to improve the quality of education jointly at national and state level. Chhattisgarh is one of the newly formed states of India. The education system of the state is though not remarkable, the state government is making all its efforts to improve the situation by running several programmes. This research paper is a case study of two government schools situated in the rural areas of the state where the efforts of the principal Support of teaching staff, enthusiastic students and new innovative techniques can rejuvenate the situation of schools not only in teaching but also for personality development and improvement of confidence level of students. One of these two schools Government Higher secondary school, Mandhar was previously chosen for the study and now another school Government Girls Higher secondary school, Nawapara-Rajim is also included in this case study. The main focus of this paper is overall development of students through effective leadership and method of study
