 Abstract

Concrete is the most important material in the construction industry in view of its compressive strength, high mouldability thermal conductivity, stability and economic considerations. Agricultural waste and Industrial wastes cause series threats to human health, pollution problems due to its improper disposal and utilization. These wastes created opportunities in the construction industry. This agro and Industrial waste can be used as non-structural element. The density, compressive strength thermal insulation, water absorption was experimentally conducted with various agricultural and Industrial wastes such as coconut coir, thermacol, e-waste, Bamboo, Straw, wood dust etc. Still there are more waste as well as tests are to be explored. So, this review is aimed to utilize this agricultural and industrial wastes in the construction industry to the alternative of concrete

 Abstract

In this paper, a new quasi single stage highly efficient buck boost inverter is presented. The structure of the inverter leads to the reduction of inductor shoot through current and dead time elimination. This is also capable of bidirectional power conversion and due to this, the body diodes of the switches can be avoided and the losses and reverse recovery issues is avoided. Due to the high frequency pwm switching phenomenon, the size of the inductors and capacitors are greatly reduced. The fuzzy logic control is replacing the existing PI controller so that the system can be adapted to transient changes in input voltage variations. The simulation is performed in MATLAB/Simulink software.

 Abstract

Tomato (Lycopersicon esculemtun) is the world�s largest vegetable crop and known as protective food both because of its special nutritive value and also because of its wide spread production. Tomato is one of the most important vegetable crops cultivated for its fleshy fruits. Tomato is considered as important commercial and dietary vegetable crop. Tomato is protective supplementary food. As it is short duration crop and gives high yield, it is important from economic point of view and hence area under its cultivation is increasing day by day. Cash Crops cultivation plays an important role in the agricultural economy of India. Marginal, small, medium and large size farmers of India grow vegetable for generating income and increasing nutrient in the diet of people. But limited research was done on profitability and resource use efficiency of tomato which are the major vegetable cash crops grown by farmers in Himachal Pradesh. Study was carried out in 2017-18 on the basis of primary data to know costs, returns and resource use efficiency of tomato cultivation. The study concluded that return per rupee (RPR) in tomato cultivation was Rs.3.57, benefit cost ratio (BCR) at Rs.3.25:1, contribution of margin (CM) at Rs. 368 breakeven point (BEP) at 1.68 tones/ ha. and margin of safety (MS) at 22.68 tones/ ha respectively which was highest to large farm category in both the cash crops and indicated that large farms are more efficient and have more economies of scale (net-returns) due to better management practices, sound financial position and efficient use of resources.

The present paper deals with the �Ethnobotanical study of some medicinal plants of nalanda district, Bihar , India�. during-2018-19 To document the medicinal and other utility of plants. The present paper deals with traditional uses of 06 plants species belonging to 04 genera and 04 families along with correct botanical identification, local names, past used and mode of administration in respect to different applications. The documented ethnomedicinal plants are mostly used to cure sexual disorder, asthma, skin disease, wounds, anaemia, headache, diabetes etc are listed.

A passion to change the world, a passion to improve the way things were happening around and a passion to ensure better accessibility of the poor to the much needed services, a passion to introduce a sustainable shift to bring about economic equilibrium. Using a market based model that does not bypass the poor; instead treats them as valuable customers and consumers and not an object of their bounty.
