An Ant Colony Search technique is used to solve the problem of optimal distributed generation (DG) allocation and sizing in radial distribution networks (ACSA). The objective is to determine the best size and position of distribution generators (DGs) for various IEEE radial distribution systems, such as 15-bus, 33-bus, and so on, while also noting the required number of DGs. Because there are various sources of DG, the suggested ACS method optimises both size and location. The objective is to keep the uniform voltage profile close to unity and hence minimise line losses in the radial distribution system. The problem's numerous practical restrictions are considered.

The fitness industry is experiencing a renaissance. The machines have gone, the floor has been freed, and people are turning to functional training for an effective, modern workout. One of the most influential fitness trends in the recent past is Functional training. It works multiple groups at once, whilst allowing you to tailor your training towards a specific sport or activity. Per Olof Astrand coined the term functional training in a landmark article titled Why Exercise? He stated, If animals are built reasonably, they should build and maintain just enough, but not more structure than they need to meet functional requirements (1992, p. 154). Dr. Astrand was ahead of his time in predicting that people would soon be focusing more on why they should exercise, rather than on how exercise changes their physique. In a recent article on trends in fitness and wellness, Archer (2007) suggested that people need more of a sense of purpose for why they exercise and predicted that soon there will be a blending of fitness and wellness. Every individual has a specific reason as to why he or she exercises. While we all have our own personal motivations and fitness goals, it generally falls somewhere between: 1) IT IS TO LOOK BETTER. 2) FEEL BETTER 3) OR IS TO LOOK GOOD, MUSCULAR, FEEL BETTER AND AT THE SAME TIME PERFORM BETTER IN OUR DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIEs. JUST IMAGINE YOURSELF IN ONE OF THESE SITUTATIONS FEEL UNEASY TO LIFT AND HUG YOUR CHILD STANDING UP FROM A LOW CHAIR DIFFICULTY IN LIFTING A SUITCASE INTO AND OUT OF THE TRUNK OF THE CAR. If you can relate to any of these situations, youre not alone. In fact, thats why the concept of functional fitness has become so popular among people of all ages and ability levels. Whether you are active and want to improve your ability to perform in sports or hobbies, or you are more sedentary and find yourself having trouble maintaining your independence with daily activities, functional fitness is for you.

Fire is a great servant but a bad master. Mastering fire was very crucial for the evolution of the human species. However, fire has been responsible for losing significant human life and property over the millennia. Wildfires have devastated humanity since the beginning of time. As technology has advanced, we have found different methods to address wildfires. These methods have had various levels of success against wildfires. Artificial intelligence is the newest tool humanity has developed to address its problems. Implementing artificial intelligence with deep learning will allow for a more efficient method of fighting wildfires. This will reduce the time taken to get wildfires under control and ensure the least number of human casualties in the process. This report highlights the advancements made in artificial intelligence and deep learning with regards to fighting and containing wildfires.

Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an ongoing infectious, pandemic disease and spread from person to person in multiple countries around the world. Corona virus is a group of viruses that cause infection in mammals and birds. In humans, bats serve as the main host reservoir for corona viruses causing respiratory tract infection and lead to be lethal.

Biochar is charcoal used as a soil amendment for both carbon sequestration and soil health benefits. Biochar is a stable solid, rich in carbon, and can endure in soil for thousands of years. Like most charcoal, Biochar is a solid residue produced from burning organic material from agricultural and forestry wastes (also called biomass)in a controlled process called pyrolysis. The use of biochar can potentially aid in mitigating climate change through carbon sequestration and improve soil quality by the addition of nutrients, increased water holding capacity and providing a liming effect in soils. The physical and chemical properties of biochar can vary depending on pyrolysis conditions and feedstocks used.Biochar is a promising alternative to remedy the soils contaminated with heavy metals and organic compounds through adsorption and immobilization due to its large surface area, charged surface, and functional groups. Overall, the bioavailability of heavy metals and organic compounds decreases when biochar is amended into soils. This paper is mainly focused on the production of biochar with the use of castor stock and the pyrolysis.

Abstract: Complex of Cu(II) with bis-(3,5-dimethoxy salicylidine)-ethylenediamine was synthesized and was characterized by elemental analysis, melting point determination, conductivity measurement, magnetic property studies and spectroscopic studies. Molecular formula of the newly prepared complex was determined as C20H22N2O6Cu and the probable geometry has been suggested as square planar. Gravimetric estimation of Cu(II) was made with bis-(3,5-dimethoxy salicylidine)-ethylenediamine and the result was compared with the known method of estimation of Cu(II) iodometrically . It was found that the result of estimation with newly prepared reagent was highly satisfactory and at par with the previously reported result of estimation of Cu(II) iodometrically .

Alice Munro [b. 1931] one of the Canadas most critically acclaimed contemporary writers started writing short-stories in the 1950 but became successful only in the 1960 with the publication of Dance in the Happy Shades in 1968. She is a gifted short-story writer whose strength primarily lies in her ability to present the texture of everyday life with both compassion and unyielding precision. Her descriptive style of narrative and faithful representation of reality or verisimilitude like event, place, rural communities made many critics place her fictions within the tradition of literary realism. The cursory glance over her works justifies this sort of classification.

The issues of alienation, dislocation and problems faced by second generation of immigrants are widely discussed in post-colonial narratives. This paper presents the attitude of the immigrants towards the homeland and also the cultural alienation they face due to. It focuses on Relationship between Diaspora and homeland. This paper throws light on the experiences of two generations of immigrants in Jhumpa Lahiris The Namesake and also attempts to explain problems of identity and the attitude of the first-generation and second-generation immigrants towards the two lands which they inhabit.
