Abstract Introduction: Ethnography is the systematic study of people and cultures. It is designed to explore cultural phenomena where the researcher observes society from the point of view of the subject of the study or a scientific description of the culture of a society by someone who has lived in it. The Santal is a name of an ethnic group native to India and Bangladesh in South Asia. Santals are the largest tribe in the Jharkhand state of India in terms of population and are also found in the states of Assam, Bihar, Odisha and West Bengal. Bapla is a Santali word which means marriage. Marriage in Santal tribal community is a sign of a prosperity and beginning of new life. Without joyful night by singing, dancing, drumming and playing flutes Santal marriage is not considered. Santal marriage takes five daysand it involves various, often complex, rituals. The most important and heritage part of the Santal Marriage is that, it is designed with lots of Games and some war like activity, that's the fitness competition in between two groups, Groom's side and the Bride's side, that has a direct relationship with the societies basic need and the new couples private need. Traditional games are more than just a games. They build body and spirit through the game and built harmony within the family and community and pride in one's heritage. Aim of the study: This researcher worked on the traditional games practices and the social values of it in the rituals of marriage ceremony of a particular Santal Tribal group. Study Area: Santal villages of Birbhum District, West Bengal, India. Methodology: Direct observation, Documents, Archival Records, Personal Interview. Results: Researcher found lots of games that is an essential part of the Santal Tribal marriage ritual and that has a direct relationship with the Santal Tribal Society. Conclusion: Social practices, rituals and festive events are habitual activities that structure the lives of communities and groups and that are shared by and relevant to many of their members. They are significant because they reaffirm the identity of those who practice them as a group or a society and help reinforce a sense of identity and continuity with the past. The games were played by all age and sex, children, youth, and adults, old age. The games have roots in ancestral tests of strength that reinforced group cooperation and sharpened survival skills in often hostile environments.

This study examines the impact of social media advertisement on consumer buying behavior within the fast fashion industry. The study employs a quantitative research design to explore the relationship between social media advertisements and consumer buying behavior among younger consumers aged 18 to 25 in Bengaluru District. Data were collected from a sample of 95 respondents using a structured questionnaire, which assessed exposure to social media ads, consumer attitudes, preferences, and buying behaviors. Convenience sampling was used to select participants. The analysis involved Percentage Analysis, Independent t-test, and One-way ANOVA with Scheffe's Post Hoc Analysis, using SPSS and MS Excel, with a significance level set at 0.05. The study concludes that social media advertising significantly influences consumer buying behavior among young Indian consumers in the fashion industry. Female consumers exhibit higher engagement and responsiveness to social media advertisements compared to male consumers. Age differences also impact consumer behavior, with younger consumers (18-25 years) displaying different preferences and behaviors compared to older groups (25-30 and 30-35 years). The preference for brand and quality when searching for products on social media underscores the importance of maintaining a strong brand presence and ensuring high product quality. The significant positive correlation between social media advertisement and consumer buying behavior highlights the effectiveness of social media as a marketing tool.

Social mobility, the process by which individuals ascend or descend within a social hierarchy, is pivotal in assessing a society's equity and opportunity distribution. Education is often viewed as the principal instrument for facilitating social mobility, especially among disadvantaged populations. This article delves into the intricate relationship between education and social mobility for disadvantaged children, scrutinizing the barriers that hinder their access to and benefits from education. It examines the effectiveness of various educational policies and interventions in enhancing social mobility and posits that while education is indispensable, it must be complemented by broader social and economic reforms to unlock its full potential as a vehicle for upward social mobility.

This paper provides a comprehensive examination of tiered compilation in Java, a sophisticated feature within the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) designed to enhance the performance of Java applications. By employing a multilevel compilation approach, Java's tiered compilation uniquely combines rapid application startup with optimized long-term execution efficiency. The paper delves into the architecture of tiered compilation, illustrating how Java applications initially execute using a basic interpreter or a lower-tier JIT compiler, which ensures quick startup times. As the application runs, the JVM identifies frequently executed code segments ("hot" spots) and progressively recompiles them using more advanced, optimizing compilers at higher tiers. This adaptive strategy not only boosts the execution speed but also optimizes resource utilization, offering a balanced and dynamic compilation process that caters to varying application demands. Through this deep dive, we aim to elucidate the inner workings, advantages, and practical implications of tiered compilation, providing valuable insights for developers, architects, and performance engineers involved in Java application development.

The banking sector in India has witnessed a significant expansion, playing a pivotal role in the country's economic growth. However, as banks have become more advanced in their operations, there has been a notable increase in fraudulent activities. Despite the implementation of numerous regulations and measures to curb fraud, instances of fraud continue to persist. Fraud poses a substantial threat to an organization's reputation and its relationships with external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, financiers, and business partners. This research paper focuses on examining the issue of fraud within the banking industry. The study aims to assess the various factors contributing to bank frauds and evaluate the level of adherence to fraud prevention measures, including those mandated by the Reserve Bank of India, among bank employees. Additionally, the research aims to provide insights into bank employees' perceptions of preventive mechanisms and their awareness of different types of frauds. The study involves a targeted sample of 100 employees working in banks located in Gujarat.

Thin films having different thickness of Pb0.4In0.6Se were deposited by thermal evaporation techniques, onto precleaned amorphous glass substrate. The structural properties of films were evaluated by XRD, optical microscopy and EDAX. The optical properties of annealed thin films have been evaluated. The evaluated optical direct and indirect band gaps are 1.51 to 2.18 eV and 0.21 to 0.56 eV respectively. The X-ray diffraction analysis confirms that films are polycrystalline having orthorhombic structure. The average grain size is found to be 3.61 nm. Thermoelectric properties show a positive sign exhibiting P - type semiconducting nature of the film. The estimated values of Fermi energy and absorption coefficient are thickness dependent
