 Abstract

The present research aims to study personality among B. Ed College student teachers. The sample of the study was selected by simple random sampling method, which included 150 (27 boys and 123 girls). H. J. Eysenck's Personality Scale was used for this study. Mean, ANOVA and "t? tests were used to analyze the data. Finally, the investigator concluded that there is a significant difference between personality and academic achievement among student teachers.

 Abstract

Expansion of urban residency and infrastructure has caused significant depletion of natural resources and the caused building and demolition (C&D) waste material. Traditional building practices have caused environmental degradation and resource scarcity. The integration of recycled material, specifically Recycled Concrete Aggregate (RCA) and Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) are viable schemes for promoting sustainable construction. The study provides an evaluation of the public performance, application, and environmental impact of RCA and RAP in various infrastructure sectors. Drawing upon from the global practice in countries such as Germany, Japan, and the United States, the comparative analysis shows how governmental policy, technological promotion, and quality assurance models have enabled large-scale measurement acceptance of recycled material. RAP offers substantial energy savings and economic benefits by saving asphalt binder and aggregations while RCA contributes significantly to increasing green energy, minimizing landfill dependence and lowering nursery gaseous state emission. Environmental advantages of using RAP include reducing embodied free energy and Carbon footprint. Technical challenges such as variableness in recycled stuff property and durability and performance of binder are identified. The study emphasizes the demand for robust material characterization techniques, advanced processing methods and rejuvenation of technology and the evolution of public performance-based standards to ensure consistent quality and long-term structural integrity. Insurance policy intervention, manufacturer incentive, public consciousness, and continued research are needed to integrate recycled material into mainstream building practice. The research shows how the strategic usage of recycled material can transform infrastructure development into a more sustainable, resilient and resourcefulness efficient procedure. Their acceptance addresses environmental challenges but also fosters economic fight and contributes to achieving global sustainable targets within the building manufacture.

An impact of Globalisation on Indian Industry started when the government opened the country's markets to foreign investments in the early 1990s. Globalization means the dismantling of trade barriers between nations and the integration of the nations economies through financial flow, trade in goods and services, and corporate investments between nations. Globalization has increased across the world in recent years due to the fast progress that has been made in the field of technology especially in communications and transport. The government of India made changes in its economic policy in 1991 by which it allowed direct foreign investments in the country. The benefits of the effects of globalization in the Indian Industry are that many foreign companies set up industries in India, especially in the pharmaceutical, BPO, petroleum, manufacturing, and chemical sectors and this helped to provide employment to many people in the country. This helped reduce the level of unemployment and poverty in the country. Also, the benefit of the Effects of Globalization on Indian Industry are that the foreign companies brought in highly advanced technology with them and this helped to make the Indian Industry more technologically advanced.

 Abstract

The growing need for clean and alternative energy solutions has encouraged the development of systems that can utilize wasted energy in everyday life. Human footsteps are a reliable source of mechanical energy, especially in crowded public places. This paper presents the design and fabrication of a low-cost mechanical footstep power generator using a rack and pinion mechanism coupled with a DC generator. The system captures the mechanical energy produced during walking and converts it into electrical energy, which is stored in a battery for lighting or other small load applications. The prototype is simple, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly, making it ideal for use in locations like railway stations, bus stops, parks, and shopping malls. The experimental results demonstrate that this system can generate useful amounts of electricity from everyday human activities, promoting sustainable urban energy solutions.

This research article investigates the far-reaching and complex impact of the Cold War on Third World countries--nations across Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East that were emerging from colonial rule and striving for sovereignty during the second half of the 20th century. Though the Cold War is traditionally understood as a bipolar geopolitical conflict between the United States-led capitalist bloc and the Soviet Union-led communist bloc, its most consequential and often devastating outcomes were experienced outside the core arenas of power. Third World countries became ideological, political, and military battlegrounds where superpower rivalry manifested in the form of proxy wars, covert operations, military coups, economic manipulation, and competing development agendas. This study explores how the Cold War altered the political and developmental trajectories of non-aligned or marginally aligned nations, using case studies such as the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and Cold War-era interventions in Angola, Chile, and Afghanistan. It examines how superpowers used aid, arms, and ideological influence as tools of dominance, often exacerbating domestic conflicts or stifling democratic aspirations in favor of geopolitical expediency. The research also analyzes the role of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and regional leadership in resisting bipolar domination and advocating for an independent course. Through a critical synthesis of historical events, political theory, and postcolonial analysis, the article underscores the legacy of Cold War dynamics in shaping contemporary issues in the Global South, including ongoing political instability, economic dependency, and security dilemmas. Ultimately, the study emphasizes the need to reframe Cold War history by placing Third World experiences at the center, revealing the hidden costs of superpower competition and the resilience of postcolonial states striving for autonomy and self-determination.

Often hailed as a "Rajarshi" (philosopher-king), Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV was one of the most forward-thinking monarchs in colonial India, known for his dedication to modernization, human development, and inclusive governance. His rule coincided with a period of increasing national consciousness and anti-colonial struggle across India, yet Mysore stood as a unique model of indigenous governance that worked in tandem with the British colonial framework to deliver welfare-centric reforms. Under his leadership--and through the administrative genius of Dewans like Sir M. Visvesvaraya and Sir Mirza Ismail--Mysore became a pioneer in multiple domains: universal education, industrialization, public health, infrastructure development, constitutional governance, and affirmative action. Major initiatives included the establishment of the University of Mysore (1916), one of India's earliest modern universities; the Krishna Raja Sagara (KRS) Dam, a marvel of engineering and irrigation; the Mysore Iron and Steel Works in Bhadravati, fostering industrial self-reliance; and one of the earliest reservation policies for backward communities, laying a foundation for modern social justice discourse. Drawing from archival records, government documents, memoirs, and academic literature, this study critically evaluates the holistic reforms introduced during Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV's rule. It also explores how his legacy continues to influence contemporary governance models in Karnataka and India at large, making a strong case for revisiting princely states as active agents of modernity rather than relics of feudalism.
