Athletes need more protein as they are building and/or repairing muscle as well as connective tissue. Their requirements are two to three times the amount of protein as normal people, or between 1.4-2g per kilo of body weight per day. This is a large range, allowing variation for the sort of sport they play. Protein deficiency is one of the common problems seen in young athletes. We developed bajra millet cracker for an endurance athlete which is protein dense snack it will fasten the recovery rate and prevents muscle wastage. Protein dense cracker can be consumed post training or exercise for greater recovery as well as before exercise to prevent muscle breakdown. We reviewed 20 research articles on this topic after the product development sensory evaluation carried out by team evaluators based on taste, texture, appearance, odor, and color. Microbiological testing was done in our college laboratory. Shelf-life analysis was done by keeping product in Air tight container for twenty days.

Design and synthesis of pharmaceutical Co-crystals have received great interest in the recent years. Co-crystallization of drug substances offer a tremendous opportunity for the development of new drug products with superior physical and pharmacological properties such as solubility, stability, hydroscopicity, dissolution rates and bioavailability. This short review summarizes this highly topical field, covering why the topic is of interest in pharmaceutical formulation, the definitions and practical scope of co-crystals, co-crystal preparation and characterization, comparison of different (traditional and novel) methods for co-crystal formation and implications for regulatory control and intellectual property protection. Traditionally, co-crystal can be prepared by solvent evaporation method, grinding, and slurry method, but, every method has limitation for certain condition. The current trend for Co-crystal formation uses the sophisticated method such as hot-melt extrusion method, spray drying method, supercritical fluid technology and the newest, and laser irradiation method. Development of new method is not only to overcome the limitation of traditional Co-crystallization methods but also to generate a simpler step and continuous process for the production of Co-crystal product. This article gives a brief explanation of each method that can be used to generate pharmaceutical Co-crystals.

Prevalence of Insomnia in general population ranges between 10-40% and Stress are fairly common conditions affecting 60- 90% workers, adults and elderly people. Insomnia is difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep. Stress is the behavioral response unable to cope with mental or emotional pressure and physical tension. Both affects day time cognitive functioning, psychological behavior, personality alterations and quality of life. Cognitive- behavior impairment and personality impairment scale questionnaires are designed based on various factors like daily hassles, happiness scale, perception of the present and the future by an individual, personality traits, depressive life events and so on. These questionnaires with certain scoring methods can assess the degree of stress and insomnia involved with root cause analysis. The appropriate treatment/ counseling with cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) for Insomnia and Stress on the basis of pre-data gathered, Insomnia severity index (ISI), Pittsberg sleep quality index (PSQI), Perceived sleep quality index (PSQI) and Ardell wellness stress test (AWST). The CBT will be highly effective for treating Insomnia and Stress without medicinal interventions and cost effective treatment.

This case study research was determined and analyzed the cases of street mendicancy among senior citizens in Tarlac City that covers the year 2022. The researcher used a purposive sampling technique and used instruments such as interview guide, documentary analysis and observation analysis to effectively achieved the objectives of the study. The respondents interviewed were 30 cases of senior citizens that participated in the study who shared their learning experiences from their current life situation and difficulties in streets. In addition, programs and other assistance from the government were documented through interview in the city social welfare and development office in Tarlac. Findings revealed most of the cases were under the age bracket between 60-69 years of the first years of their senior life where men outnumber women in the homeless population in the city, whereas also the total number of respondents reveals that men are more likely to use shelter services and are therefore more visible in the displaced population. It is also indicated that without proper financial support for care, involvement in street mendicancy is often their only options when they reached the old age due to being neglected, health conditions and inability to perform daily activities. Additionally, no formal education concludes that one of the main challenges of the senior citizens mendicants during their early life is securing a job with no formal education, which leads them to engaged in informal work. The findings also revealed a significant link between socioeconomic status and begging. This resulted in the conclusion that socioeconomic background has a significant influence on begging. Hence, orphaned, neglected, old age, sickness of family member, worsened eyesight, disability, poor early life economic status and financial difficulties revealed that these are the factors that contributed to their lives in the street. The study presented several government measures and initiatives designed to helping the senior citizens mendicants. Recommendations were also presented in terms of policy restrictions to street begging that should be enacted by the government and efforts should be put in place to ensure that such policy is implemented and must make sure that these actions are put in place to include the mendicants in the proper nursing homes. Also, these nursing homes and rehabilitation centers should be established in every local government area of the country where counsellors can render educational, moral, vocational, emotional, and personal-social services to the rehabilitated street beggars. It is important to note that street mendicancy ought to have a collaboration of the efforts from the government and other NGOs as well as partnership from other private organizations to better implement the programs for elderly social protection. Finally, the study is recommended to be a baseline data for extension program for the College of Public Administration.
