It has been found that there has been a limited provision of health facilities in the prisons of women in India. Due to a lack of infrastructure, the unwillingness of jail authorities, and funding-related problems, the overall health and medical support system for female inmates is not at all satisfactory despite several government proposals. However, given the updated and amended national Prison Manual, thorough progress is being witnessed as long as the health perspective of female prisoners is concerned. However, there are several other existing problems like taking care of mental health issues of the female offenders which are deliberately neglected but need prominent and immediate attention to achieve sound health goals among the inmates in a true sense. The paper here had attempted to give a detailed insight about the health condition of the women prisoners in India. It has provided in-depth data based on the availability of the health and nutritional facilities within the female prison where women convicts are serving their sentences. Government initiatives that are yet to be initiated like offering standard calorie diet to the women prisoners, health screenings, and inspections from the side Chief Medical Officer have been discussed here with necessary elaboration.

The third most prevalent cancer in the world is colorectal carcinoma. Adenomatous polyps, which occur in areas of epithelial cell hyperproliferation and crypt dysplasia, are precursor lesions to colorectal cancer. Chemotherapeutic medicines are used alone or in combination to treat the majority of CRC patients. However, up to 90% of patients with metastatic cancer encounter treatment failure, primarily due to medication resistance that has developed over time and can result in multidrug resistance (MDR). In this study, we looked into recent research on prospective herbal medicine CRC MDR reversal therapies (HMs). Panax Quinquefolius, Gymnaster Koraiensis, Zingiber Officinale, Punica Grantum, Vitis Vinifera, Camellia Sinensis, Zingiberaceae, etc. In recent years, emphasis has been drawn to the use of conventional therapies. The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of plants that have been shown to be useful in treating colon cancer, with a focus on their bioactive components and underlying mechanisms of action. The findings suggest that the best plants for preventing colon cancer are grape, soybean, green tea, and pomegranate. These medicinal herbs have a number of cancer-fighting strategies, including upregulating superoxide dismutase, lowering DNA oxidation, triggering apoptosis by stopping the cell cycle in the s phase, and downregulating PI3K and P-Akt expression.

Diabetic Cardiomyopathy is a clinical condition of ventricular dysfunction that occurs in the absence of coronary atherosclerosis and hypertension in patients with diabetes mellitus. It is characterized by diastolic dysfunction, which is defined as a defect in left ventricular relaxation leading to increased pressures and subsequent impaired filling during diastole. And present to the pathogenesis of diabetic cardiomyopathy. Diabetic cardiomyopathy is accelerated by the variation in the adaptive and innate immune systems. Diabetic cardiomyopathy is characterized by interstitial fibrosis, mainly composed of collagen, and perivascular fibrosis. In the review, we will discuss various aspects, etiology, pathophysiology, and clinical manifestations of Diabetic Cardiomyopathy.

Here is a potential abstract for a paper on sign language recognition for deaf and mute individuals: "Sign language is a vital form of communication for deaf and mute individuals, but it has traditionally been difficult for them to access technology and services that rely on speech or text input. In this paper, we present a sign language recognition system that allows deaf and mute users to communicate with spoken language users and access a variety of services through a simple and intuitive gesture-based interface. Our system utilizes machine learning techniques to accurately interpret sign language inputs in real-time, and we demonstrate its effectiveness through a series of user studies. Our results show that the system is able to achieve high levels of accuracy and usability, and has the potential to greatly improve the daily lives of deaf and mute individuals by providing them with greater access to information and communication."

The use of various fixed beds having higher surface area is effective in removing organic matters and nutrients from municipal wastewater. Due to the higher specific surface area, fibrous materials are often considered a better choice for increased microbial support and treatment efficiency. In the present study, efforts have been made to check the efficiency of two different fibrous materials, Agave sisalana fibres and Areca husk fibres having higher specific surface areas. They were used as packing media in two different bio-reactors for sewage treatment, under batch mode and similar experimental conditions. The reactors were continuously aerated for different contact times. The study reveals that these fibrous media could be acceptable for the efficient removal of organics and nutrients present in the sewage.
