 Abstract

Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) has emerged as a key strategy for enhancing manufacturing efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in the automobile sector. Indian automobile companies, faced with increasing competition and globalization, have adopted TPM as a tool to enhance productivity and operational excellence. This research paper explores the TPM practices implemented by leading Indian automobile companies, their impact on production efficiency, and the challenges faced during implementation. The study is based on secondary data sources, industry reports, and case studies.

A critical issue facing small-scale industries today is the struggle to effectively market their products in the global marketplace, due to intense competition from larger multinational corporations, resulting in limited market access, inadequate branding, and difficulty adapting to rapidly changing consumer preferences, significantly limiting their growth potential and often leading to a precarious position within the global economy. The impact of the financial crisis has not been consistent over the world. Aside from the epicenter of the crisis, those with a greater reliance on external markets for commerce and finance were more directly affected by the worldwide contagion. In contrast, small enterprises with lesser product diversity and no choice for downsizing had a largely homogeneous influence across global economies, regardless of the economy's trade dependency

 Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disorder characterized by persistently elevated blood glucose levels in otherwise healthy individuals. The primary aim of this study is to explore the simulation of photonic crystal-based biosensors for diabetes monitoring. The results indicate that the sensor can detect glucose concentrations as low as 7 mM (0.13%). Moreover, the study demonstrates that the sensor can accurately measure resonance shifts even for minor fluctuations in glucose concentration. Therefore, the photonic crystal-based sensor shows potential for diabetes monitoring. The sensitivity of the sensor is measured at 282.1304 nm/RIU with a Q factor of 70.56. The findings of this study are significant for the design and development of photonic crystals for diabetes monitoring.

(The Empowerment of women has become one of the most important concerns of 21st century not only at National level but also at the International level. Women's Empowerment has been challenging and changing gender inequalities since the beginning of the history. These struggles have also been supported by many men who have been outraged at injustice against women. Women represent half of the World's population and gender inequality exists in every nation of the planet. Until women are given the same opportunities that men are entire societies will be destined to perform below their true potential. The greatest need of the hour is to change of social attitude towards women. When women move forward the family moves and the nation moves. It is essential as their thought and their value system lead the development of a good family, good society and ultimately a good nation. The best way of empowerment is perhaps through inducting women in the main stream of development. It's important that society must take initiative to create an atmosphere in which there is no gender discrimination and women have full opportunities of self-decision making and participating in social, political most important educational and economic life of the country with a sense of equality.  Abstract

This study aims to analyze the significance, cultivation practices, and challenges of cotton production in India, emphasizing its role in the agricultural and industrial sectors. Cotton, a major fibre-cash crop, supports over 40 million livelihoods and serves as a primary raw material for textiles. India uniquely grows all four cotton species: Gossypium arboreum, G. hirsutum, G. herbaceum, and G. barbadense. However, production is hindered by pests, water scarcity, and market volatility. Optimal cultivation requires specific climatic conditions, well-drained soils, and efficient irrigation methods. Addressing these constraints through improved practices and infrastructure is essential for enhancing productivity and ensuring sustainability.

 Abstract

Risk averter people are always ready to pay for insurance premium to get a guaranteed future income. But poor people cannot afford to pay such high amount of premium. Various studies showed that there is chronic poverty among tea garden workers of Assam and they also have very little access to government schemes for socio economic development of the vulnerable people. For poor people availability of insurance can be of great help. This paper studies the status of use of insurance services by the tea garden workers of Assam on the basis of a primary field survey conducted across twelve tea estates of six major tea growing districts of Assam during the month of July to December 2017. The study finds that use of insurance is very dismal among the tea garden workers of Assam.Furthermore; their awareness about affordable insurance schemes provided by the government is also very poor.
