 Abstract

Midday-Meal is a free school meal provided to a child during a school break at no cost. Very few countries provided these to all school children regardless of their ability to pay but many governments in developing countries especially, are increasingly implementing free school meals to improve attendance rates and reduce malnutrition. In India, the National Programme of Nutritional Support to Primary Education (NP-NSPE) scheme, deployed nationwide by 1998, 104 million children were covered in 1.6 million schools during 2013-14. It is an excellent initiative taken by the Govt. for school-level children. In the present paper, the researcher wants to compare the opinion of the rural parents and the opinion of urban parents regarding Midday-Meal Programme at elementary level.

 Abstract

Educational administration is regarded as total processes inclusive of all responsibilities and functions necessary for running the school. It provides and manages various elements of the teaching-learning situation such as the learners, the teachers, the curriculum and the socio-physical environment. There are different functions of administration in school management program. These are planning, organizing, directing and controlling. In the absence of these functions, the school cannot function effectively. In this paper author will try to discuss about the multilevel educational administration system among United States of America and Japan ( as developed countries ) on one hand and India and Pakistan ( As developing countries ). This paper also will try to compare the educational administration among these four countries.

 Abstract

In this paper, the author have attempted to estimate the noise in hyperspectral images over the belt of 350N to 350S and 1180E to 1180W from the satellite AVIRIS images obtained from JPL, NASA for the period October 1992. The paper aims in particular, to find out the thresholding technique and image transform for satellite image denoising. For this purpose the authors have investigated a few threshold techniques and wavelet transforms. The study shows that the curvelet transform is better than wavelet transform for noise estimation in hyperspectral images.

 Abstract

Natural resources are materials and substances that occur naturally and can be used for economic gain and development. Proper exploitation and utilization of natural resources will help in income generation, economic growth and development. However, under-utilization of Natural resources will retard economy and development. Ukhrul District of Manipur is gifted with many natural resources, but many natural resources remained under-utilized and even unexploited. Optimum exploitation of natural resources is more important than its availability. The objectives of the present paper is to examine i) the under-utilization of natural resources in Ukhrul district ii) factors for under-utilization of natural resources in Ukhrul District and iii) impact of under-utilization of natural resources in the development of Ukhrul district.
